ROBERT HUNTER "of Streetside" died in 1716, and was buried on 20 October. He had issue:
1 THOMAS HUNTER (1672-1730), baptized at Ravenstonedale on 14 March 1672. He owned and apparently lived at High Sprintgill. A Thomas Hunter married Merriet Watson on 25 May 1713 at Ravenstonedale. In 1717, he bought Low Sprintgill from William Fawcett. A Thomas Hunter married Elinor Shaw on 25 May 1719 at Ravenstonedale. He was buried on 21 February 1730. Elinor probably lived on until 1776.
1.1 ROBERT HUNTER (1712-1784) was baptized at Ravenstonedale on 26 April 1712. He married Mary Fawcett at Ravenstonedale on 4 November 1738. Mary was buried on 26 February 1779. Robert may have survived her, and been buried on 13 February 1784.
1.1.1 FAWCETT HUNTER (1744-1813), baptized at Ravenstonedale on 8 October 1744. He married Anne Robinson at Ravenstonedale on 23 February 1764. He was at High Sprintgill in 1781, and owned the copyhold when it was enfranchised in 1808. In 1792 he was at Waingarth, and in 1797 at Dovengill. He was overseer for Fell End Angle in 1802-3. Ann died in 1811, aged 64.

1.1.1.2 JOHN HUNTER (17??-1837) Lived at Low Sprintgill. He married Mary Wilson on 6 March 1791. He was overseer for Fell End Angle in 1803-4.
1.1.1.2.1 MARGARET HUNTER (1799-1864), baptized on 25 May 1799. She lived at Low Sprintgill with her servant, Robert Furness (b. 1811) until some date in the 1860's. She remained unmarried, and died in the third quarter of 1864.
1.1.1.3 JOHN ROBINSON HUNTER (1781-1811), baptized on 4 April 1781, and buried on 18 May 1811. In 1806 he was bonded to support the illegitimate child of Mary Thompson, "singlewoman of Ravenstonedale".
1.1.1.4 MARY HUNTER (1792-??), baptized at Ravenstonedale on 29 April 1792. She may have married Septimus Parkin Udale at Ravenstonedale on 19 September 1815 and settled with him at Weasdale.
1.1.2 WILLIAM HUNTER (??-1748), buried in infancy on 25 January 1748.
1.1.3 MARY HUNTER (??-1758), buried in infancy on 24 April 1758.
1.1.4 THOMAS HUNTER (??-1749), buried in infancy on 28 January 1749.

1.4 WILLIAM HUNTER (1720-1789), baptized on 7 April 1720.
At the Christmas Quarter Sessions in Kendal on 8 January 1741/2, William ('of Sprintgill') was charged with the theft of a gimmer hogg from George Tiniswood of Birks, Cautley.
He was bound over on the recognizance of himself, James Balif of Murthwaite and John Robinson of Dovingill

He was 'of Sprintgill' when he was buried on 30 October 1789, aged 70.
1.4.1 THOMAS HUNTER (1753-1753) who died in infancy at Sprintgill. He was buried on 12 December 1753.
1.5 RICHARD HUNTER (1721-??), baptized on 27 September 1721.
2 SIBBELL HUNTER (1674-??), baptized at Ravenstonedale on 5 April 1674.
