Hotel barge Luciole - A Typical Itinerary

Guests meet a member of the Luciole's crew at the Hotel Regina in Paris on the Wednesday afternoon to be taken to the Luciole either by bus or train depending on the whereabouts of the barge.

From the 14th April to the 25th May, and the 23rd June to the 31st August, the Luciole will be travelling on or near the Burgundy Canal.
From the 26th May to the 22nd June, and the 1st September to the 26th October the Luciole will be on or near to the Canal du Nivernais.

Each cruise will include plenty of sightseeing excursions and time for walking and cycling.

Of the two areas, the Nivernais is probably the most rural and unchanged, with plenty of tiny villages.
